How do you determine the most effective way to create a message and inspire action, especially with a complex set of factors?
Join NFPA and the Advertising Council at the rdIAWF’s 3rd Human Dimensions of Wildland Fire Conference in Seattle, April 16 – 20 to learn how they, along with the U.S. Forest Service and a coalition of wildfire safety organizations, are answering this question as they create a Fire Adapted Communities (FAC) media campaign and website.
The session, held on Thursday the 19th
at 3:30 PM, will highlight the steps involved in creating effective  media tools and will provide an insider’s look into how collaboration between agencies translates into a public Fire Adapted Communities initiative . Audience members will also learn about resources such as the new FAC website and other media communications.
To see a list of the other wildland fire industry speakers, and for a full schedule of events , check out the program page of the IAWF website.
We hope to see you there!
