The latest issue of NFPA Journal, the official magazine of the NFPA, examines the review process currently underway for NFPA 25, Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems, in the article, “Closer Look.” The story details a new NFPA effort addressing a variety of questions related to the scope and adequacy of NFPA 25 including the changes it has gone through since its first addition in 1992. The story comes in light of an upcoming symposium which will examine a range of issues related to the standard’s effectiveness.
