On September 16 and 17, 2014, the NFPA 1730 Technical Committee on Standard on Organization and Deployment of Fire Prevention Inspection and Code Enforcement, Plan Review, Investigation, and Public Education Operations to the Public, met in Green Bay, Wisconsin for the Second Draft Meeting of the annual 2015 cycle. Also on the agenda was the drafting of a proposed new document addressing Community Risk Assessment and Plan Development. The new document will have the primary responsibility for establishing a process to develop, conduct, implement and evaluate community risk assessment and reduction programs.
