NFPA 1300, Standard for Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Plans, is a proposed standard that is still in the drafting phase.  The document release and first edition is yet to be determined as the draft will need to be approved by the Standards Council prior to entering the formal NFPA revision process.  The Technical Committee on Fire Prevention Organization and Deployment will be meeting later this year to continue working on the draft document.  This standard will contain requirements for the process to conduct a Community Risk Assessment and develop, implement and evaluate a Community Risk Reduction Plan.   The standard will also contain the minimum requirements of a community risk assessment (CRA), adequate program selection, managing resources, records management, training, communications, and health and safety.  Sign up for email alerts www.nfpa.org/1300
