Lee Richardson honored by AFAA

Lee Richardson is recently retired from NFPA after having worked there for many years. Lee was Staff Liaison for NFPA 72® National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code and NFPA® 720 Standard for the Installation of Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detection and Warning Equipment.


Lee was recipient of the Automatic Fire Alarm Association’s Larry Neibauer Lifetime Achievement Award. This award has been given annually since 2000. The award is given to “a person who has shown many years of dedication and meaningful service to the Fire & Life Safety Industry during their career.” Lee is the 2015 recipient.
