The ERT Code Challenge is on a short break this week, and we apologize for the interruption. We'll be back soon with new questions. In the meantime, use the commenting tool below to tell us what topics you'd like us to cover when we return!
Welcome to NFPA's Electrical Resource Team's Code Challenge poll. Each week will have multiple choice questions with a similar theme and then tune in on Friday for a bit more of a challenge. Friday questions will have a higher degree of difficulty and every now and then might require the use of a different code or standard that can be accessed using the free access feature of www.nfpa.org. This week's theme is Grounding and Bonding.
How well do you know the NEC® and electrical safety requirements? Take our Code Challenge to put your knowledge to the test!
The NFPA Electrical Response Team (ERT) is comprised of NFPA's internal electrical experts (and self-proclaimed code geeks). We'll be coming to you with daily questions covering all things NEC® and NFPA 70E®.
Take the Electrical Response Team's Code Challenge and see how your responses stack up against your peers. Answers from the NFPA ERT will be posted the following day.
Make sure to click the "Follow" button at the top of the page to receive updates when new questions and answers are posted (hint: if you check "Inbox", you will receive a notification to your Xchange inbox - make sure your email notifications are turned on, too. Read more here) or bookmark the page for easy access.
Unless otherwise stated, all questions will be based on the 2017 edition of the NEC® and 2015 edition of NFPA 70E®.
