Are you Pro Board Certified?  Would you like to become Pro Board certified?  Do you know what it takes to achieve Pro Board Certification?  NFPA 1000 series documents as well as NFPA 472 and 1521, identify the minimum job performance requirements (JPRs) that all members of the fire service must master to become Pro Board certified in a particular area.  Many states allow members of the fire service to become certified through Pro Board Fire Service Professional Qualifications.  You can find information about the Pro Board Certification process at and view a video on this process at
