New Technical Committee on Facilities for Fire Training

The Fire Service Training Committee had they’re request to reassign control of NFPA 1402 Guide to building Fire Service Training Centers, 2012 edition, to a new committee approved by Standards Council at the April meeting. Applications can be submitted for this
new committee who’s start up roster will be presented at the August SC meeting in August. The new committee, Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props will have the responsibility for the design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for fire training and for fire training props. This covers gas-fired props, training structures, props, simulators, used for live fire, rescue, and related tactical training exercises.
