During the last revision cycle, the Technical Committee for the National Fuel Gas Code made several revisions to the requirements for CSST bonding in Chapter 7 of NFPA 54. These were based off of a study done by the Gas Technology Institute (GTI) that indicated that the location of the bonding jumper does not impact the efficacy of the protection, but that the length and size of the connector are critical factors.
