Folks, it’s not over yet. Weather forecasters tell us that bitterly cold air from the Arctic Ocean will cause temperatures across a substantial portion of the United States to plunge this week. From the Midwest to the Northeast, snow is expected. March is only days away, but winter refuses to loosen its grip.

As part of the “Put a Freeze on Winter Fires” campaign, NFPA and the United States Fire Administration have teamed up to promote fire safety during the winter months. NFPA’s storm preparation materials, the “Put a Freeze on Winter Fires” infographic, online quiz, and checklist provide valuable tools for managing in the face of winter conditions.
