The U.S. Olympic Complex in Colorado Springs is the flagship training center for the U.S. Olympic Committee and the Olympic Training Center programs. The CSOTC is able to provide housing, dining, training facilities, recreational facilities and other services for more than 500 athletes and coaches at one time on the complex!

The Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center is home to sport facilities and support services for the following summer Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American and Parapan American sports (which one do you think Sparky was best at?):

  • Boxing
  • Cycling (Olympic and Paralympic)
  • Figure skating
  • Gymnastics
  • Paralympic Judo
  • Pentathlon
  • Shooting (Olympic and Paralympic)
  • Paralympic Swimming
  • Weightlifting
  • Wrestling

Sparky turned 65 on March 18, 2016, and we have been pulling out all the stops to help him celebrate! He’s created a bucket list of 65 activities and events he’d like to accomplish between his birthday and October. As he checks them off his list, we’ll make sure to share them with you. Some of Sparky’s wishes are pretty lofty, while others are just fun or a bit silly. Check in weekly to see where he goes and what he’s up to!
