NFPA takes the fuss out of fundraising for your Fire Prevention Week campaign

Engaging your community in this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign will ensure that more homes are protected from fire. If you don’t have all of the resources you need to promote FPW, consider reaching out for assistance.

Local businesses are often willing to offer financial support. How to begin? NFPA has a sample fundraising letter that makes it easy. It includes all the details you’ll need to generate the interest of local businesses, paving
the way for you to follow up a few days later.

The sample fundraising letter is one of the many resource provided to help you with Fire Prevention Week.  There’s a sample press release, social media messages, classroom ideas, and customized outreach tips.

You’ll do your part to reinforce this year’s theme—“Don’t Wait–Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years.”
