Years–along with their fire department logo. Simsbury is one of many departments that purchased the Fire Prevention Week T-shirt Decal, which means the department has the flexibility to do “print-your-own” customizable printing.

Department members won’t be the only ones wearing the T-shirts. According to Assistant Chief/Deputy Fire Marshal Patrick Tourville, the T-shirts will be used as raffle prizes at the department’s open house. Also, he’s looking into getting the wait staff of local restaurants to wear the T-shirts in an effort to keep the campaign in the public consciousness all year round.

“From the decal to other catalog products, such as Fire Prevention Week in a Box, we’ve got everything we need to make the campaign a breeze,” he says. “We have no trouble getting the ball rolling for Fire Prevention Week.”
