Sparky checks off bucket list item #63: Visits the Washington Monument

Sparky couldn’t have traveled to Washington D.C., without stopping by the Washington Monument before he left. Being one of the most visited tourist attractions, the Washington Monument is located between the U.S. Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial. Fun fact about the Washington Monument is that it serves an awe-inspiring reminder of George Washington’s greatness as he rallied the thirteen colonies to become our nation’s first president. The Monument stands 555 feet, 5-1/8 inches.

Sparky turned 65 on March 18, 2016, and we have been pulling out all the stops to help him celebrate! He’s created a bucket list of 65 activities and events he’d like to accomplish between his birthday and October. As he checks them off his list, we’ll make sure to share them with you. Some of Sparky’s wishes are pretty lofty, while others are just fun or a bit silly. Check in weekly to see where he goes and what he’s up to!
