Dear All,
During the site visit, I noticed that some of the sprinkler heads are decolourized, i.e. the red bulbs (68C) become transparent however the bulb is still filled with the liquid.
Is there anybody who knows what is the main reason for this case? Besides, should we replace the sprinkler head because of this decolourization or not?
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Alican
Are these located in a cold environment or in direct sunlight? It's been seen that color loss can occur at low temperatures but typically returns once the liquid warms up. While it doesn't appear to affect performance, an inspector will probably fail it if they cannot differentiate between empty or due to a color loss from ground level.
