Based on the 2017 edition of the NEC:

 

A 250kVA, 480-volt, 3-phase, outdoor generator set is equipped with a 300A inverse-time circuit breaker that feeds a 200A, MCB, branch-circuit panelboard on the outside of a building. What is the minimum sized XHHW type copper conductors that are permitted to be installed in schedule 80, PVC underground between the generator and the panelboard?
