I work with CNA Insurance, in the property Risk Control area, we've seen a dramatic increase in the frequency and severity of water damage losses since 2013. Almost 2/3rds of these losses are due to frozen sprinkler or water supply piping. Clearly not a good situations for anyone. Looking to start a dialogue around what others (insureres, contractors, regulators or companies) have been seeing and what actions if any should be contemplated to help prevent these types of losses.
What are you seeing and what are your thoughts?
