Is there a change in the NEC that there has to be a separate neutral wire run for every phase (black,red,blue or brown, orange, yellow ) circuit thatis wired? THANKS.
If you have a split, single-phase electric supply, the two opposite legs (two circuits) can share a single neurtal. If the supply is 3-phase, then three circuits on different phases can share a neutral.
No there is NOT a requirement in the NEC for a neutral for each phase
