New language in NFPA 80 2016 states the following:

5.1.6 Field labeling shall be performed only by individuals or companies that have been certified or listed, or by individuals or companies that are representatives of a labeling service that maintains periodic inspections of production of labeled equipment or materials and by whose labeling the manufacturer indicates compliance with appropriate standards or performance in a specified manner.

Have you needed to re-label your fire door assembly or part of its assembly (frame, door leaf) in the field?

What triggered the need for a field inspection or relabel?

Who was responsible for assigning the work and documentation?

Who did the field labeling?  A laboratory?  A third party? Was the work approved by the AHJ?
