Deposits without sprinklers - Minimum Distance of goods to the ceiling

Dear colleagues,

An insurance company has indicated to one of my customers, the supermarket category, that the goods in his deposits must be at least 1.0 meters from the ceiling. Miscellaneous goods placed in racks.

We are talking about facilities that do not have automatic sprinklers, relatively low ceilings so that the distance required by the insurance significantly reduces the capacity of the storage area.

On the other hand the local regulations do not require NFPA requirements.

Do you know some NFPA standard indicating the minimum height of the goods to the roof?

Thanks a lot in advance.
