I had a home security/fire detection system installed recently by a reputable concern.
The sales representative stated that there was a "fire code" listed as "220.127.116.11".
I cannot find such a standard or code.
Any one have any idea?
Possibly NFPA 72,,, not sure which edition he might be talking about
But not sure why he says that section??
This section of the 2010 edition covers :::Chapter 29 Single- and Multiple-Station Alarms and Household Fire Alarm Systems
Now, some hone so called security / "fire" are not underwriters listed for "fire" just security/burglary
Sometimes I see one some alarm installed and the company will call it a fire system.
Sometimes I will se smoke alarms installed outside bedrooms and inside bedrooms and tied back to the security panel.
Problem is some of these smoke alarms will not sound at the detector, just have a horn or something go off somewhere in the house.
""" SO why the question????? "" May help to give you a better answer.
