Wooden Barrel/cask storage of distilled beverages (Whisky)

Trying to locate data to determine the acceptable sprinkler density for storage of 240 gallons of whisky in wooden barrels.  NFPA lists distilleries as OH2, but FMG, XL GAPS, and DISCUS indicate a density in the range of EX1.  That requirement is bases upon warehousing operations with distilled beverages in wooden barrels (thus larger quantities).  IFC Chapters 50 and 57 indicate that storage of wooden barrels of distilled beverages or wine is outside of the scope of those chapters.  Would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Also craft distilleries are popping up all over the place.  Believe we need a new NFPA standard strictly on this industry.
