Does an assisted living resident unit without cooking facilities which is also in an I-2 facility have to provide A/V occupant notification devices if the smoke detectors and dome lights notify ths nurse stations and the 24 hour supervised security office

@This is a skilled nursing facility I-2 facility in Connecticut which has licensed nursing on one floor and licensed assisted living on another floor, but the facility is constructed to I-2 requirements. The skilled nursing units and the existing A.L. units do not contain A/V devices and the question is whether the proposed renovated units must have A/V devices.
