My company is going to upgrade our existing External Floating Roof Tank to compile with the latest NFPA 780 standard, however, we are not quite sure for the following few points:
1. If the shoes plate of the Primary Seal could serve as the "Sliding Contact", instead of adding a new piece of metal as earthing path;
2. If the hanger and spring supporting the shoes plate are insulated, how should the conduction path be established?
3. If the rolling ladder has to be bonded to the tank shell as well as the floating roof with 1 single bypass cable?
Would appreciate if somebody could help, thank you very much!
