If the facility is a single story fully sprinkled building, where in IBC or NFPA does it explain where notification is required?
First you need to determine if a manual fire alarm system is required.
in the 2009, look at section 907.2.4
if required install per NFPA 72 And IBC notification is in 907.5.2 907.5.2.3. 907.5.2.3.1
plus local requirements
if monitoring only normally one outside device
us local requirements
2012 IBC and 2010 NFPA
The building is fully sprinkled so “Manual Fire Alarm Boxes” are not required per 907.2.4
“Where the building is sprinklered, manual alarm boxes are not required if the water flow of the sprinkler system activates the notification appliances.”
So can I assume no pull stations but notification is required throughout or is notification only required at the reser(s)?

So back to original answer
so is the building two or more stories and 500 plus occupant load??
if so notification required through out
if not,, monitoring only required
with minimum one a/v outside
as always check for local requirements
Not sure what NFPA says
is that NFPA 1 ???
Sorry I missed that it was single story.
So with out any local requirements, the base IBC says monitoring only.
So one a/v outside.
