For Clean Agent Suppression Systems using cross-zone detection to discharge the agent, do we half the normal recommended detectors' distance spacing in-between, or half the area of detectors' coverage?

The above is basically to calculate the numbers of detectors to be used in a Room using Clean Agent Suppression System with cross-zone detection to release the agent.
