Motor Control Centers or Switchgear that have dual feeds (A and B Feeds) from the utility, is that considered alternate power source per NFPA 820 9.2.10

2012 NFPA 820

9.2.10 Ventilation systems serving areas governed by this standard shall receive power from electrical equipment that receives power from a primary power source and that also has the means to accept power from alternate power sources. Minimum requirements for the means to accept the alternate source of power shall include connectors that are designed to connect to devices such as standby generators, portable generators, uninterruptible power supplies, and so forth.
