Hi All, Thank you all for providing info throughout. I want confirm if there's an specific standard for air tide door in Data or server rooms which are protected by FM200 system. Thanks
The door has to close if kept in the open position.
The entire enclosure has to pass the door fan test.
I do not think an air tight door is required.
Thank you cda, Yes I have conduct the door fan test and already pass according to NFPA. The reason why asking because I'm wary when the gas discharging maybe will escape and already calculated to protect the room, The owner have installed doors not complying with standard.
Thanks again for assist.
C.220.127.116.11 Inspect all openable doors, hatches, and movable partitions for their ability to remain shut during the test.
C.18.104.22.168.5 All doors should have door sweeps or drop seals on the bottoms and weather stripping around the jambs, latching mechanisms, and door closer hardware. In addition, double doors should have a weather-stripped astragal to prevent leakage between doors and a coordinator to ensure proper sequence of closure.
The door fan test should have been done with the doors that will be used, in place.
Thank you very much for information, it's clear and understood. Thanks
