We have an Oxygen cylinder storage room with ventilation and fire rated walls it is also sprinklered. The storage room is in our Cardiopulmonary wing where patients come for tests.  The Cardio department has placed I.V. pumps and chargers in this storage room on shelves along with the oxygen cylinders.  There are other, flammable items in this storage room (plastic-wrapped catheters, breathing tubes, etc.)  Is it legal to store these items along with the oxygen cylinders?  I can't find anything in NFPA 99 2012 that addresses this.  My concern is mostly about the battery chargers, which have the potential to produce a spark when plugging or unplugging the chargers from the devices.Explore - Ask Your Peers #O2 cylinder storage #medical oxygen
