I have a project where ask for NFPA code for fire and safety systems. Our design define that FACP should control the Fire dampers not BMS. We did so. But we were asked y our FACP supplier that he will arrange control signal but Power source should be done by EPS system (emergency Power system), and he will arrange a control signal for energizing the dampers. the dampers are with power feed 24AC and some 24V DC and some 240AV. My questions:

- how should be be the connection for each type of Dampers (24V DC, 24V AC, 240AC)? Is it from FACP or EPS panels (Emergency EMC panels)

- power feed from EPS for 24V AC dampers and we put transformer will be controled by FACP

- power feed from EPS for 24V AC dampers and we put relay will be controled by FACP

- power feed from FACP for 24V DC dampers directly.

Which of the above scnarios are adopted by the NPFA (either EPS Code or FA Code)?

Pls advise?
