During a recent survey, we were cited for not having out spares labeled on our electrical panel schedule. Can anyone tell me where this is stated in the code? Im having a hard finding the language on it.
Electrical codes are not my area of expertise, but code enforcement is. Have you tried asking the entity who cited you for the specific code section?
Good question. No we have not. To further clarify, I am also not an electrical expert and I am not the responsible party for this citing. Rather, my role is Life Safety and I am frequently the point of reference where there are ANY code related questions. With that said, Ive done some research, and Im not convinced this requirement is in the code.
Reaching out to our AHJ may be our only option, but I wanted to pick the brains of all the other code geeks like myself before reaching out.
