One theme that has come through loud and clear as we're having conversations with rural departments is there are budget constraints, and often a lack of resources to develop materials and programs to drive safety in the community.
We've also heard some creative solutions, including building partnerships with local vendors (like print shops or universities). Our question to you is:
- Have you created partnerships in your community to help develop materials or programs? If so, with who?
- What have the outcomes of these partnerships been? Do you track effectiveness in any way?
