I'm working in an office / high-rise / gov. environment,
I am looking for procedures for a scattered evacuation. I have search and did not find anything on the subject.
This is more of a security matter as my boss went to a conference, which a speaker told them about a scattered evacuation. The reason behind the concept is to not to have a gathering point and scatter everybody outside of a certain perimeter.
I am not sold on the idea of the scattered evacuation as the managers cannot do a head count of their employees in the event of an evacuation and it could prove difficult to activate the business continuity plan.
Does anyone have a lead or info on this type of evacuation process?
