I have a observed a serious problem in the conventional (non union) fire sprinkler industry blueprint making process. The union requires architecture to be outsourced for this reason: COMPANIES ARE CONSISTENTLY SUBMITTING BLUEPRINTS TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WITH IMPROPER DETAILS SUCH AS PIPE HANGERS AND THEY ARE BEING PASSED...THIS IS BEING USED AS AN EXCUSE FOR IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF HEAVY FIRE SPRINKLER PIPING SUSPENDED OVERHEAD IN THE FIELD. I strongly recommend that we make it a requirement in the conventional sector that architecture be outsourced to prevent cutting corners in such a way. Do you have any idea where I may submit this idea?
