What is the most common and economical system for the leaking Halon system replacement in a power substation?
Sprinklers... they are higly economical, very common and saves lives. Now, if you want a gaseous system, carbon dioxide is the best choice, provided the enclosure is normally not occupied. Inert systems could be an alternative, but they are not very common and I don't think they are economical comparing to other agents. FM200 and Novec 1230 are the most common gaseous systems being installed (that I know of), economical compared to other options and are a good choice as they are more environmental friendly than older Halon agents.
