Hi where can I find the fire rating on a fire resistant breaker any kind of breaker .
If so why do you need one
For fire inspector to show that the molded case is not flammable .
Something is missing here.
Is this in the USA?
""""""""""The molded case is made of heat-resistant thermoset for stability and structural integrity"""""""""
Yes like that it's what we buy and sell . Fire inspector wants evidence of heat resistance so we can store on racks. Inspector says it's a commodity 4 or 5 and we are saying no it's a class 1 only thing flammable is the cardboard box.
Bill thank you again so much for your help. The fire inspector is not
understanding our product at all.
In the USA?
I would say just have a Fire Protection Engineer look at your products, write a simple letter, with the manufacture's attached documentation showing what kind of plastic is used, and should be good to go.
I can not talk in good terms about commodity class, but know what it looks like when I see it.
I would also disagree it is a class 1 commodity, I would say 2 or 3
Thank you so much again yes in the US Memphis here . Will get this to our
folks and make sure we can get this resolved asap.
