HELLO! I AM LOOKING FOR THE APPLICABLE NEC STANDARD FOR ACCEPTABLE LOCATIONS FOR A RESIDENTIAL ELECTRIC METER. ALSO, IS THERE A STANDARD REQUIRING THAT AN EXISTING BREAKER BOX, AND OTHER ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT LIKE SMOKE ALARMS, BE UPGRADED TO CODE BEFORE THE SERVICE CAN BE CONNECTED? THANKS!
