Fire Wall Penetration

NFPA 13-2013 8.2.1 System Protection Area Limitations does not address a penetration of a FIRE WALL. The 2007 code was clear about that, as this was prohibited, it was considered 2 buildings. Should the buildings sprinkler system be supplied from one side and penetrate into the other building, in the event of a fire, you could loose protection for both buildings. This is not addressed in 2013 has the NFPA position changed?
