Am inspecting the construction of a community building at a new upscale residential property. The building is required to be sprinkled. There is a shower room in this building. It is a separate room with a high ceiling with the shower head at about 6-7 ft off the ground. If you think of a shower in a locker room in which several people could be in it at once like the one we all use in high school gym class it would best describe this room. The question is whether it is required to be sprinkled under the requirements of NFPA 13.  What section would require or allow for an exemption. Thank you.
