Table 551.73(A) demand factors

Question asked by k.hood@telus.net on Feb 26, 2018
  1. When was the last time this table was updated?
  2. Are the values in this table adequate for the loads being imposed on services and feeders with the increased sizes or types of recreational vehicles used today vs at the time the table was last updated? My experience indicates the demand factors are low in comparison to the current usages at sites.
  3. The NEC article 551.73 includes an informational note indicating these demand factors may not be adequate in areas of extreme cold or hot temperatures. Does the NEC give direction for designers in regards to what extremes that are being referred to or how designers are directed  order to accommodate for areas  with extreme temperatures.

If you provide me with a link to the NFPA pages for past ROP’s and ROC’s/Public Inputs and Public Comments for this article it would be helpful .
