Apartment Building Mechanical Room Security

Does the NFPA-85 or other code provisions require that ingress (entry, only) to apartment building mechanical/boiler room doors be secured (locked) to prevent entry by unauthorized persons?  I realize that egress has to be maintained, but wondering if there is a code provision securing mechanical/boiler rooms to prevent unauthorized persons from entering and playing with controls on the water heater, boiler, electrical panel, etc.?  Thank you for any assistance in this search.
