What valves needs a standpipe design by NFPA 14? Just need a drain and a gauge, or it needs a riser check valve, a indicating butterfly valve and a flow switch like a sprinkler riser?
Thanks in advance
Indicating control valves and check valves are required on the supply connection of all standpipes except manual dry and automatic with fire pump. Indicating control valves are required on each standpipe, with a main drain required just after. All control valves must be supervised. Pressure gauges are required before and after each check valve, at the main drain connection and a the top of each standpipe. Waterflow alarms are required on all standpipes except manual dry. Hydraulic design information signs are required on all standpipes.
