Hi, talking about a discharge density, in my opinion there might be a mistake in the u.m.
A density should be expressed as a flow / area, not as m^(-1).

1 gpm/ft 2 = 40.746 mm/min = 40.746 (L/min)/m 2
It is a typo in metric version of the conversion. NFPA adopted millimeters of water column per minute (mm/min).
