Requirement for GFCI: Is a GFCI required for power sliding access
door, in a large freezer warehouse?
Can't really answer.
There is nothing in the NEC that specifically calls out "power sliding access door" or "freezer warehouses." That being said, it could certainly be considered a grounded surface, and a damp location. I'd do two things:
1) Check with manufacturer and read manufacturer's instructions
2) Call your local AHJ and ask
Here is the definition of a damp location with informational note (emphasis, mine):
Location, Damp. Locations protected from weather and notsubject to saturation with water or other liquids but subject tomoderate degrees of moisture. (CMP-1)
Informational Note: Examples of such locations include partiallyprotected locations under canopies, marquees, roofed openporches, and like locations, and interior locations subject tomoderate degrees of moisture, such as some basements, somebarns, and some cold-storage warehouses.
