My guess would be the ring on the fdc.
Now there are different types of fdc's!!!

NFPA 170 provides standard symbols used to communicate fire safety, emergency, and associated hazards information. Using easily understood uniform symbols on labels and signs provides consistency, eliminates confusion, and improves communication.
I would use the standard symbol from NFPA 170 at the FDC.

Within the Metro-Atlanta, Georgia area we utilize text verses a symbol. If the FDC is not obvious to the responding engine company we may use text with a directional arrows.
