In an industrial facility , entrance to a facility is through an air-locked chamber of approximately 25 square feet due to the need of the maintenance of the pressure inside the room. The building is required to be sprinkler-ed throughout.
Is this an entrance to a room??
It is an entrance to a big room/facility where processing is done. If you run sprinkler into the chamber , it is very difficult to ensure the chamber is airtight and under pressure. Chamber is only 25 square feet.
Normally has to have a sprinkler.
You need to talk to whoever has any authority over the approval of the installation, to see if they would allow omission of the sprinkler.
The chamber does have doors on both sides correct??
So do you walk in one door, wait for it to close, than walk thru the other door???? Or is it a different set up?
