Would there be a Code violation if a door closing device were used to prevent a "shooter" from making entrance? (ie: small section of fire hose placed over the door closure device which would act as a deterrent)   I was asked this question by a public school official in charge of security and emergency management.  He was concerned that the device would be considered a violation of Fire and Building codes.
