I am under the presumption that an existing stationary fire pump is out of order due to an unplanned occurrence or due to work that was planned in advance. There appears to be no specific NFPA standards requirements for temporary fire pumps for a water-based fire protection system.
NFPA 20 requires stationary fire pumps to be maintained in accordance with NFPA 25.
