As per NFPA -13 table 22.5.3..4 & 7 , table directive for steel pipe can we distribute sprinklers arrangement like above or it is to be restricted only up to 15nos, please clarify
It looks like you are working with an old existing pipe scheduled system for ordinary hazards in accordance with Section 25.5 of the 2010 NFPA 13. This section of NFPA 13 pipe schedules have limited applications.
The number of sprinklers in common or separate branches are limited to 8 without exceptions. You may need to install a cross main above and below the ceiling to accommodate the 10 sprinklers. Five on each side or eight on one side and two on the other side of the cross main.
These Sections applies to your layout.
Table 220.127.116.11 is limited to the applications in accordance with this Section. This would not apply to your layout.
When using the Tables consult with the corresponding Sections for their applications.
