Lithium-Polymer - Drone Battery

Question asked by pierre.carvalho on Aug 28, 2018

Hello friends. The use of drones is increasing every day in the world. They use the polymer lithium ion (Lithium-Polymer) battery. This battery has a very great energetic charge and so it is very dangerous. Today we can find in the lipo bags that theoretically prevent the fire produced by these batteries. Are there any NFPA studies about this? Does the NFPA indicate any really appropriate case to prevent fires from this battery?

Sincerly.
